Lessons During School Holidays
Missed Lessons
You are entitled to a maximum of one make-up lesson per calendar month. Make-up lessons do not accrue and are not interchangeable for refunds. Extra make-ups are not provided for missed make-up lessons. In extenuating circumstances, such as ongoing illness or long-term holidays, please contact our manager.
Learning to Swim Timeline
As your child grows, their swimming skills will continue to develop and extend. Each child is unique and will master skills and progress at their own pace. The amount of time spent practising skills can affect how long it takes for your child to progress through the levels. Regular attendance throughout the year will aid in your child’s ability to remain water-safe, retain skills and progress. We heat our indoor pools to a comfortable 32.5 degrees all year round.
Swimming All Year Round
Swimming lessons provide a unique combination of social and physical interaction with the teacher and classmates. Learning to swim is a lifelong investment, and continuing swimming during the winter months will build upon the skills learnt for the following summer. Children require constant practice to acquire new skills and reinforce existing ones. Aquatic education is an ongoing process of long-term skill development and committing skills into muscle memory. Stopping over winter may cause your child’s confidence and swimming ability to regress. Our pools are maintained at a comfortable temperature all year round to ensure optimal conditions for swimming.
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your enrollment, we ask for you to provide your request in writing via email to swimmos@outlook.com so that we can action it before the invoices are created for the new month.
